Playing Skyblock on Bedrock: phones, consoles and PC
Plenty of Skyblock servers are built for Java only, which leaves phone and console players out. Here's how to find one that welcomes Bedrock, and how to get connected on whatever you play on.
Short answer: yes, you can play Skyblock on Bedrock. SunRealms (web.sunrealms.net, port 19132) is our top Bedrock-friendly pick, with crossplay so you can play alongside friends on Java. AkumaMC (web.akumamc.net) and ManaCube also take Bedrock players on port 19132.
Java or Bedrock: which one do you have?
Minecraft comes in two main editions, and they play almost the same. What matters for joining a server is which edition your device runs.
| Device | Edition |
|---|---|
| Windows PC | Java or Bedrock, depending on which one you launch |
| Mac and Linux | Java |
| iPhone and iPad | Bedrock |
| Android | Bedrock |
| Xbox | Bedrock |
| PlayStation | Bedrock |
| Nintendo Switch | Bedrock |
If someone mentions Minecraft PE or Pocket Edition, they mean Bedrock on a phone or tablet. It's an old name that stuck around.
What crossplay means for your island
A crossplay server lets Java and Bedrock players join the same server. For Skyblock, it means the friend on a laptop and the friend on an iPad can be online at the same time, chatting and playing together, instead of needing matching devices.
SunRealms and AkumaMC are both crossplay servers with a single address for Java and Bedrock: Java players connect on any version from 1.8 to 26.3, and Bedrock players add port 19132. ManaCube also takes both editions, but Bedrock players use a different address from Java players.

- Consoles usually list only featured servers, with no Add Server button. If yours has one, enter
web.sunrealms.netand port19132, just like on mobile. - No Add Server option? Ask in the SunRealms Discord for the current console method.

Touch and controller tips
- Know where crouch is. Island edges are where things go wrong, so find the crouch control on your touch screen or controller before you build near the void.
- Keep Minecraft updated. Bedrock servers usually expect a recent version of the game, so install updates before you try to connect.
- Prefer Wi-Fi for long sessions. A steady connection makes building near the edge far less nerve-racking than a patchy mobile signal.
- Try a controller or keyboard if you have one. Minecraft on many phones and tablets works with them, and placing blocks precisely gets much easier.
Bedrock-friendly Skyblock servers
These three servers from our ranked list publish a Bedrock route. PikaNetwork, #3 on the list for its OP SkyBlock, isn't here because we only list a Java address for it.

Good to know: the Bedrock address is not the same as the Java one, so send friends the right one for their device.
Featured servers in the Servers tab
The Servers tab on Bedrock also lists featured servers, which you can join without typing an address, even on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. The Hive and CubeCraft are two of them, and both are minigame networks rather than Skyblock servers. The Hive is for Bedrock Edition only, with games such as Treasure Wars, SkyWars, Murder Mystery and Hide and Seek. CubeCraft runs on Java and Bedrock, with games such as SkyWars, EggWars, Lucky Islands and BedWars. For an island of your own, add one of the Skyblock servers above with the steps on this page.

Questions
What is the best Skyblock server for Bedrock?
SunRealms is our top Bedrock Skyblock pick: it welcomes Windows, iPhone, iPad, Android, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players at web.sunrealms.net, port 19132. Its skills-based Skyblock mixes bosses, farming, foraging and island building. AkumaMC (web.akumamc.net, port 19132), our #2 pick, welcomes the same Bedrock devices.
What port do Bedrock Skyblock servers use?
Bedrock servers need a port as well as an address. 19132 is the standard Bedrock port, and it's the one SunRealms (web.sunrealms.net) and AkumaMC (web.akumamc.net) use.
Can Bedrock and Java players play Skyblock together?
Yes, on a crossplay server. SunRealms and AkumaMC both let Bedrock players join the same servers as Java players on versions 1.8 to 26.3, using one address each: web.sunrealms.net and web.akumamc.net.
Why can't I add a server on my console?
Console versions of Minecraft usually have no Add Server button, so the Servers tab only lists featured servers. Ask in the SunRealms Discord (discord.gg/sunrealms) for the current console method, then connect to web.sunrealms.net on port 19132.
