In short: AkumaMC is a seven-gamemode network that started with OP Prison and also runs RNG. Its Skyblock is skills-based, with bosses, farming, foraging and island building, and you can join on Java or Bedrock at web.akumamc.net (port 19132). It is #2 on our Skyblock list.

Skyblock on AkumaMC

AkumaMC's Skyblock is a skills-based take on the genre. Instead of only growing a bare island, you'll spend your time on four things:

  • Island building, the home base you'll keep improving
  • Farming, one of the first jobs on any new island
  • Foraging, the skills-server word for gathering wood
  • Bosses, the big fights you work up to

Seven gamemodes on one IP

Skyblock is one of AkumaMC's seven gamemodes:

  • Prison: OP Prison, the gamemode AkumaMC started with. It has a super OP economy, free ranks, 14 themed mines, around 40 custom pickaxe enchants, 10 bosses, gangs, robots and rebirths.
  • Skyblock: skills-based, with bosses, farming, foraging and island building.
  • Gens: a generator gamemode with 49 generator types, islands with teams, upgrades and augments, five grinding skills and 18 global events.
  • Dungeons: 20 zones, four heroes (Knight, Archer, Fire Mage and Medic) who fight beside you, around 45 sword enchants, companions and the Zone Gambit event. It's a server gamemode, not Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons.
  • RNG: roll for rarities, boost your luck, build collections and climb the leaderboards.
  • Survival: classic Minecraft survival with the AkumaMC community.
  • Cobblemon: Pokémon-style creatures through the Cobblemon mod. The AkumaMC Discord has the current join instructions.

What's RNG?

RNG is AkumaMC's chance-based gamemode. You roll for rarities, boost your luck, build up collections and climb the leaderboards. It makes a short change of pace between Skyblock sessions, and it's the main reason to look at AkumaMC if you enjoy luck-based games.

Seasons, fair play and PvP

AkumaMC starts a new season every six weeks, so newcomers never wait long to begin alongside everyone else. Everything in the store can also be earned in game, and strict anti-cheat runs across the network.

When you want a break from building, there's a PvP arena with kits and lifesteal. In lifesteal-style fights, the winner usually takes health from the loser, which keeps every round tense.

How to join AkumaMC Skyblock

Java Edition

  1. Launch Java Edition. Versions 1.8 up to 26.3 all work.
  2. Click Multiplayer, then Add Server.
  3. Paste web.akumamc.net into Server Address.
  4. Hit Done, join and choose Skyblock.

Bedrock Edition

  1. Tap Play, then the Servers tab.
  2. Choose Add Server at the bottom of the list.
  3. Type web.akumamc.net and set the port to 19132.
  4. Save, connect and choose Skyblock.
